Over 100 runners took to the streets near Fuentes Elementary in Kyle for the “Race For the Stars” fun run, which was put on by local nonprofit For the Love of Go. Kyle resident Matthew Veloz was the overall top finisher by completing the course in just under 19 minutes. Johanna Villareal finished closely behind in second place, and was the top female finisher on the day.
