Time is running out for residents to cast their hat into the ring for a plethora of places on the Buda and Kyle City Council dais that are up for grabs this November.
The deadline for filing required paperwork is 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 21. Filings must be submitted to the city secretary before the deadline.
Both Buda and Kyle will decide on a new mayor, as both seats will be up for grabs Nov. 7. Three city council seats, one of which is an unexpired term, will be decided on in Kyle, while Buda voters will decide on three city council seats.
Here's a list of who's so far filed for the upcoming Nov. 7 election (NOTE: Order of candidates is NOT the order of which will appear on the ballot).
