Mayor accuses former council of circumvention of law

Kyle City Council voted to not bring a bond for the indoor sportsplex at its Aug. 6 meeting, following a discussion on potential phasing and funding.

By Brittany Kelley KYLE — Kyle City Council voted 6-0 at a special meeting on Aug. 3 to amend ordinance 1231, which discusses policies for the city credit card and reimbursement for council members.

At a special meeting held on Saturday, July 27, Kyle City Council heard a presentation and held a discussion on the proposed FY 202425 budget ahead of its scheduled adoption in September.

KYLE — Kyle City Council approved resolutions to purchase several downtown properties for a total sum of $4.45 million at a special meeting held on July 24.
