HAYS COUNTY — Aqua Texas is proposing an increase to water and wastewater rates for all customers across the state, including those who use its services in Hays County.
WIMBERLEY — The Trinity Edwards Springs Protection Association (TESPA) is taking formal action against Aqua Texas, a utility company that provides water to residents in Woodcreek and Wimberley.
WIMBERLEY — The Wimberley Community Center had standing room only on Friday, Feb. 9, for a meeting hosted by The Watershed Association and the Trinity Edwards Springs Protection Association (TESPA) regarding the current state of groundwater and the contributing role of Aqua Texas.
DRIPPING SPRINGS — On Thursday, Jan. 25, the Hays Trinity Groundwater Conservation District met at Sunset Canyon Baptist Church to address the new pumping permit requested by Mirasol Springs. There were more than 100 people who attended to either support or contest the Mirasol Springs development.
HAYS COUNTY — Aqua Texas, a water utility company that services customers in Hays County, filed a federal lawsuit in December 2023 against the Hays Trinity Groundwater Conservation District (HTGCD).

WIMBERLEY — Aqua Texas, a water utility company that serves Hays County, was fined approximately $450,000 by the Hays Trinity Groundwater Conservation District (HTGCD) for pumping 89.4 million gallons of water in 2022, which was almost twice the amount was allotted by its permit.
