The Hays CISD Board of Trustees heard an update regarding ongoing projects within the district at its July 22 meeting.

SUGAR LAND — A year-long, collaborative Hays CISD campaign that helped spread awareness of the dangers of fentanyl use has generated additional statewide praise for its effort in keeping students safe.

BUDA — With a 7-0 vote, the Hays CISD Board of Trustees approved multiple projects at its Oct. 23 meeting.

BUDA — On Monday, Sept. 25, the Hays CISD Board of Trustees discussed the addition of 15 school resource officers (SRO) and approved a memorandum of understanding with the Texas Workforce Housing Foundation.

BUDA — At its regular meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 28, the Hays CISD Board of Trustees approved an application for an exception to House Bill 3 (H.B. 3) based on staffing criteria.
