The Samaritan Center has enhanced the mental health services it provides to individuals and families in the city of Dripping Springs.

KYLE — Hill Country Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Center is partnering with Hays CISD, Hays County and city of Kyle to establish a Juvenile Behavioral Health Program. The partnership comes after Kyle City Council awarded the solicitation to increase access to mental health services to the organization in January 2024.

KYLE — At its May 22 meeting, Kyle City Council approved a resolution authorizing the award of the “Increase Access to Mental Health Services for Residents Under 18” solicitation to Hill Country Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Center (HCMHDD).

The Dripping Springs Education Foundation (DSEF) has been supporting educators and students for more than 30 years.

KYLE — At its Dec. 5 meeting, Kyle City Council voted to approve the installation of additional automated license plate reading systems and heard a presentation on solutions for the mental health crisis that is ongoing in the city.

KYLE — There have been a number of propositions on the ballot over the past six years aiming to benefit the residents of Kyle, including a railroad infrastructure improvement, park and road improvements and the construction of the Public Safety Center.

— “On both of our bridges … we’ve had people jump off of them and so, that is where it becomes some sort of responsibility to at least direct [residents to resources],” said council member Yvonne Flores-Cale.

— More funds and resources will be provided to Hays CISD to address a variety of mental health concerns.
