HAYS COUNTY — Heroes that perform lifesaving work behind the scenes were honored at the annual San Marcos Hays County EMS (SMHCEMS) awards banquet — the second since COVID-19 — held Saturday, June 10 at the Plum Creek Golf Course.
— The Hays County EMS Association has been declared the official employee representative of San Marcos Hays County EMS (SMHCEMS) after receiving 68% of the votes in a mail-in ballot election.
HAYS COUNTY — The Hays County EMS Association, composed of approximately 80 employees of San Marcos Hays County EMS (SMHCEMS), is still waiting in hopes of getting voluntarily recognized.
