On the 100th day of the 2018-19 school year Friday, members of the Hays CISD community celebrated what would have been the 100th birthday of Tom Green, namesake of Tom Green Elementary in the Buda area. The event featured a birthday party consisting of Tom Green alumni and a birthday cake.
