Groups team up to contest Blanco discharge permit for wastewater

The Wimberley Valley Watershed Association (WVWA) has recently filed a request for a contested case hearing for the city of Blanco’s wastewater permit (#WQ0010549002), which will allow the city to discharge an average of 1.6 million gallons of wastewater daily into the Blanco River. WVWA and our partner organization, Protect Our Blanco (POB), are very concerned about the permit for two primary reasons:
