Best of 2015: Satisfaction survey says HCISD employees are mostly okay

A survey conducted by a third-party group to assess staff satisfaction with the district found that Hays CISD employees are satisfied – mostly. According to the survey conducted by K12 Insight, 79 percent of employees that participated indicated they enjoy working for their supervisor or principal. Just over 85 percent were motivated to contribute more than expected. But the survey showed that when it came to compensation, 67 percent of people surveyed didn’t agree that the district’s total salary and benefits package meets their needs. According to the survey, roughly 73 percent of those surveyed didn’t agree the district was competitive with other districts.
