Congressman Lamar Smith will tour the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) program at Carpenter Hill Elementary this Friday. He will hear from students and teachers, as well as IBM executives; CHES parent and IBMer Sam Zapalac played a key role in securing grant funds from IBM to help launch the STEM program. Lehman mariachi heads to state
The Lehman High School Mariachi band competes at the state competition this Saturday. Lehman will perform at 5:30 p.m. The event takes place at Southwest High School located at 11914 Dragon Lane in San Antonio. The closing ceremony will conclude around 8:30 p.m.
