Roughly seven months after being voted into office, Hays County Court at Law #2 Judge David Scott Glickler was arrested Monday on the suspicion of Driving While Intoxicated (DWI).
Glickler, 46, was booked into the Hays County Jail Tuesday and was released the same day on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.
According to a press release, a Hays County Sheriff’s Deputy found a vehicle located on IH-35 near the 213-mile marker and conducted a traffic stop.
The deputy interviewed the driver, who was identified as Glickler, and arrested him based on the “officer’s probable cause suspicion” of DWI.
In November, Glickler was elected to the Hays County Court at Law #2 office by defeating incumbent Linda Rodriguez.
