HAYS COUNTY -- Below are the unofficial results for the Hays CISD, Dripping Springs ISD and City of Dripping Springs elections that were held on Saturday, May 1. Results will remain unofficial until canvassed and certified.
Hays CISD Board of Trustees
Incumbent Will McManus leads for the At-Large seat against Donye Curry and Bert Aguin with 797 votes. Curry has 589 and Aguin has 70.
For the District 3 seat, Courtney Runkle leads with 178 votes against Richard W. Cronshey with 99.
Hays CISD school bond
- Proposition A, accommodating school district growth, received 886 votes in favor with 693 against.
- Proposition B, renovating and rehabilitating district assets, received 872 votes in favor and 705 against.
- Proposition C, stadium expansions, received 631 votes in favor and 944 against.
- Proposition D, stadium improvements, received 663 votes in favor and 917 against.
- Proposition E, administration, received 704 votes in favor and 873 votes against.
- Proposition F, technology, received 935 votes in favor and 641 votes against.
City of Dripping Springs
For the Place 3 seat on Dripping Springs City Council, Geoffrey Tahuahua leads with 130 votes against Charlie Busbey with 94 votes.
Sherrie Parks leads for Place 5 with 149 votes against opponent Wm Travis Crow with 86 votes.
Dripping Springs ISD Board of Trustees
Stefani Reinold (2,094 votes) and incumbents Mary Jane Hetrick (1,717) and Shannon O'Connor (1,617) lead the nine-candidate Dripping Springs ISD school board race.
Thaddeus Fortenberry has 1,561 votes; Tricia Quintero has 1,215; Stephanie Holtzendorf has 1,175; Lynn Henson has 1,055; Jeffrey Aylstock has 1,032; and Kay Kizziar has 234.
The top three will serve.
