Oct. 20 – Kyle is celebrating its 132nd birthday with a Founders’ Day Parade beginning at 10 a.m. With a theme of Red, White & Blue, expect to see lots of color and colorful entries. The parade starts at Gregg-Clarke Park and heads east on Center Street to the gazebo at Mary Kyle Hartson City Square Park. Birthday cake will be handed out after the last parade float arrives at the gazebo. Head out to the Kyle Fair right after the Founders’ Day Parade.
Nov. 3 – Lake Kyle will host the Fall Bass Fishing Tournament. Interested anglers need to preregister, or arrive before sunrise to enter on site. Four divisions split men and women into competitive groups as they fish for trophies. All proceeds from this event support the Kid’s Fishing Clinic & Derby in June. Do you think you have the right bait and technique to be crowned the king?
Nov. 8 – The Winter Kickball League season begins, with women teams playing on Thursday nights and coed teams playing on Friday nights. Through February, not only will the players be battling each other, but the cold and windy winter weather can be a third team on the field. Beginning this season, the league is adding two games to the regular season along with the double-elimination tournament for team trophies.

Dec. 3 – Mary Kyle Hartson City Square Park improvement project begins.
Jan. 1 – Polar Bear Splash at Kyle Pool.
January – Fitness programs to keep the New Year’s resolutions.
