Coming down to the wire of the March 25 deadline to announce layoffs for contract positions, Hays CISD trustees are preparing to make a ?nal decision Thursday of which employees will be axed in anticipation of state funding reductions.
“Nobody is happy with any of this, and that’s the honest to god truth,” said Hays CISD Superintendent Jeremy Lyon. “No one is happy with any of these cuts.”
