BUDA – The Buda Police Department, including its Accident Investigations Unit and Crime Victim Liaison, and Hays County Precinct 5 Justice of the Peace Sandra Bryant are investigating a motorcycle accident that resulted in one fatality Wednesday, May 13.
Offices with the BPD Patrol Division were dispatched to the 219-mile marker of southbound IH-35 just before 11:30 p.m. May 13. An initial investigation indicated an unknown accident occurred with the motorcycle causing the driver to be on the roadway, at which point he was struck by at least two vehicles.
Upon their arrival at the scene, officers observed the motorcycle driver to have severe injuries. Hays County Precinct 5 Justice of the Peace Sandra Bryant
arrived on scene and pronounced the driver deceased.
The driver has been identified as 23-year-old William Robert Lujan of Kyle and next of kin has been notified.
