DRIPPING SPRINGS -- Dripping Springs High School (DSHS) graduate Piper Guinn was named an Academic All-American by the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association (NISCA).
Seniors carrying at least a 3.75 GPA are given this recognition and just 2% of high school swimming, diving and water polo athletes nationally earn this prestigious honor.
Guinn ranked in the top 10% in the DSHS Class of 2021 and earned an academic merit scholarship to Whittier College in California. She competed in the 100-yard breaststroke and was a member of the district and regional championship teams for the Tigers in 2021.
