A big Buda thank you to all who participated in the 27th annual membership meeting, auction and lunch at the Onion Creek Senior Citizens Center last Thurs. The auction raised $4,509 and over $600 was received for the meal. Much of the credit for the successful event goes out to Sheriff Tommy Ratliff and Lt. Leroy Opiela for their work as the auctioneers and to Tete and Annette Rodriguez for the great beef and chicken fajitas that they prepared. Money raised will benefit the building fund for the senior citizens.

Annette Chambers-Rodriguez and Jim Stavlo were re-elected to the board of directors for the Onion Creek Senior Citizens. New to the board will be Pat Chisholm. All three will serve three-year terms.
