Nearly 3,200 people cast ballots in the first two days of early voting with turnout at Kyle City Hall nearly topping 700.
On Monday, a total of 1,583 people voted – 697 at Kyle City Hall; 344 at the Wimberley Community Center; 284 at the Hays County Elections office; and 258 at the San Marcos Library. On Tuesday a total of 1,616 voted – 1,027 in Dripping Springs; 313 at the elections office; and 276 at the San Marcos library.
Voters will elect a range of officials including congressman, state representative, county judge, district judge, county court at law judge, sheriff and, in precincts 2 and 4, county commissioners.
Voters in both San Marcos CISD and Hays CISD will decide whether to join the Austin Community College taxing district, opening the door to community college campuses in those communities.

Kyle City Hall: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23;?10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 25
Buda City Hall: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23.?10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27?10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29
Seton Medical Center Hays: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22,?10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29
Election day is Tuesday, Nov. 2 when polls will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
