BUDA — The city of Buda and CapMetro are partnering to launch a second virtual open house for the Buda Transit Development Plan. The online event will be available from June 28-July 12, providing an opportunity for residents and stakeholders to engage with the proposed transit recommendations developed from extensive feedback and technical analysis.
Buda recognizes the vital role that efficient and accessible transportation plays in creating a connected and accessible community. With the aim of providing transit options and meeting the evolving needs of its residents, the city has joined with CapMetro to participate in the regional Expansion Program, which allows CapMetro funds to expand to jurisdictions outside of their service area, according to the city.
“We are excited to present the proposed transit recommendations to the Buda community,” said Buda City Manager Micah Grau. “This plan represents a significant milestone in our efforts to improve transportation accessibility and efficiency within the city. We encourage all residents to participate in the second virtual open house and share their feedback on the recommendations as we move closer to finalizing the plan.”
The virtual open house will feature a pre-recorded presentation and survey, according to the city. Participants will be able to navigate through the materials at their convenience.
To participate in the virtual open house, residents and stakeholders can visit bit.ly/budatdp. Comments may be shared through the survey or via email to [email protected]. The virtual open house will remain accessible until July 12 for participants to review the materials, offer feedback and contribute to the shaping of Buda’s transit future.
