WIMBERLEY — Wimberley High School senior Ethan Sharp scored a team high 27 points on nine three pointers in a resounding 88-47 Bi-District home game win over the Young Men’s Leadership Academy on Feb. 20.
However, the Texans’ season ended at Victoria East High School in the area round of playoffs against Sweeny. Wimberley led 34-28 at halftime but the Bulldogs put 21 points on the board in each of the final two periods. The Texans matched the 21 points in the final period, but only managed 11 points in the third period and lost 70-66.
