BUDA — Buda Police Department detectives, with assistance from the Texas Rangers Division of the Texas Department of Public Safety, are seeking the public’s help in identifying suspects involved in an aggravated robbery, which occurred Aug. 31 in Buda.
At 6:30 p.m., officers with BPD were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 1400 block of Cabela’s Drive in Buda for a report of an aggravated robbery inside a residence.
The victim told responding officers she returned to her apartment and encountered six individuals inside who had entered her residence, read a news release. During a physical altercation, the victim was struck in the face before the suspects left with some of the victim’s property.
As the investigation progressed, arrest warrants were issued for 18-year-old Daniel Medrano Jr. of Buda. Medrano was arrested on Sept. 5 and booked into the Travis County Jail, continued the release. Arrest warrants for 18-year-old Mycha Moore and 17-year-old Christian Hodge-Tolbert have been issued on the below charges.
Initial charges for the suspects are as follows:
Daniel Medrano Jr., 18
- Burglary of habitation, a second-degree felony
- Engaging in organized criminal activity, a first-degree felony
- Aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony
Mycha Moore, 18
- Burglary of habitation, a second-degree felony
- Engaging in organized criminal activity, a first-degree felony
Christian Hodge-Tolbert, 17
- Burglary of Habitation, a second-degree felony
- Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, a first-degree felony
- Aggravated Robbery, a first-degree felony
Three female individuals involved in the incident have not yet been identified. Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying these individuals and determining their whereabouts.
Do not approach or attempt to confront these individuals, warned BPD.
