BUDA — Ally Medical Emergency Room hosted a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of its eighth location, in hopes of providing quality medical services to the growing community, on April 24, marking the second Hays County facility.
The event was hosted at the new building, located at 15610 IH-35 in Buda, and featured numerous activities for children, such as yard games, face painting and a scavenger hunt throughout the facility. Touch a Truck was also offered for both an ambulance and a fire truck.

After al pastor or beef tacos, pizza and popsicles, residents could tour the facility, as well as talk to staff members, who were present in the dozens to both support and meet their new community.
Jennifer Patton, chief nursing officer, noted that she was elated at the turnout from the community.
“We hear a lot that the Buda population is frustrated with a lack of health care [and] the long wait times that your traditional hospitals have,” said Patton. “Ally is very big on supporting our communities and we really see an opportunity to bring a better level of health care to the community.”
Chief medical officer Jeremy Kenter spoke prior to the ribbon cutting, thanking those who were involved and praising the high quality of the facility. According to the doctor, the company serves approximately 50,000 patients a year, with more than 400 employees: “That’s such an amazing thing to be a part of. I have a lot of pride in working for a company that has that much impact.”
Kenter continued, stating that their success is due to the work and effort that their staff puts in, which their patients can feel when receiving their care. Patton echoed similar sentiments. She said that their patient-centered care allows a unique experience, while knowing that they are in the best hands.
Part of this experience is offering a basic medical screening exam at no charge and payment plans for those uninsured.
Ally Medical Emergency Room also operates seven other locations in Central Texas, including Dripping Springs, since its opening in 2016 and is managed by local, board-certified physicians. According to the company’s website, it is committed “to provide high-quality, compassionate, expert health care from trusted medical partners, to improve the patient experience by minimizing wait times and creating a welcoming environment and to ensure transparency from plans of patient care to billing practices and beyond in order to positively impact and better the communities we serve.”
The emergency room will operate on a walk-in basis and be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year as a fully operational facility. Services, such as digital x-rays, ultrasound imaging, electrocardiogram and more will be available.
The facility is set to open its doors on May 6. To learn more, visit .
