Dripping Springs High School hosts senior All Star Softball game

More than 50 seniors participated in the 24th Annual Greater Austin Area All Star Softball Game on June 5. In the end, the South All Star team won 2-0.

The South selection committee chose Tigers Isabella Martinez (No. 30) and Haiden Anderson (No. 28) to represent Dripping Springs High School at the All Star Game. Martinez will attend Texas State University and Anderson will attend University of Oklahoma.

At the conclusion of the game, the coaches recognized and awarded the following South Team players. The most valuable player award went to Emerson Crossan from Westlake High School, the silver slugger award to Dee Dee Baldwin from Canyon High School and the golden glove award to Tiffany Sanchez from Del Valle High School.

For the North players, the most valuable player award went to Bella Guajardo from Eastview High School, the silver slugger award to Brantley Lavas from Round Rock High School and the golden glove award to Mikala Ham from Vista Ridge High School. The two MVPs were awarded a cash scholarship presented by the Tuck Family.
