More than 50 seniors participated in the 24th Annual Greater Austin Area All Star Softball Game on June 5. In the end, the South All Star team won 2-0.
The district awards for the Dripping Springs softball and baseball teams have been announced.
By Wayland D. Clark DRIPPING SPRINGS — Dripping Springs’ head softball coach Wade Womack and Johnson’s head coach Katy Snell shared Coach of the Year honors. Seniors Taylor Anderson, shortstop, earned Most Valuable Player and Jordan Cox was named Pitcher of the Year.
— Haiden Anderson got the win and Jai-Lynn Flores came in relief to help Dripping Springs defeat visiting Westlake 9-4 on Monday, March 13.
