WIMBERLEY — BOO! Hole Halloween is coming back to Wimberley for its 10th annual celebration at Blue Hole Regional Park from 4-10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18.
This year, there will be a spooky western theme with “a night of family fun, boot-scootin’ tunes and plenty of Halloween haunts,” stated a Wimberley Parks and Recreation Department news release.
Expecting more than 5,000 attendees, the following is the lineup of fan favorites and special treats at the event:
Trick-or-Treat Trail: 4-8 p.m.
Carnival games: 4-8 p.m.
Family-friendly hayride: 4-6 p.m.
Live music: 4-6 p.m.
Frightening photo booth: 4-10 p.m.
Cider and hot cocoa station: 4-7:30 p.m.
Costume Contest (all ages): 6-7:30 p.m. with registration opening at 4 p.m.
Haunted Trail: 7:30-10 p.m.
“BOO! Hole has become more than just an event — it’s a tradition that families look forward to year after year,” said Rachel Littleton, recreation manager for Wimberley Parks & Recreation. “Reaching the 10-year mark is really special. We’ve seen kids who grew up trick-or-treating here come back as volunteers or bring their younger siblings. It’s a reminder of how parks can bring a community together.”
The 10-year celebration is made possible with the support of community partners, including Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC), this year’s Title Sponsor. In honor of the milestone, PEC will feature a special “Power Up” costume contest category.
