The event, which raises funds for Dripping Springs Helping Hands, surpassed last year’s total by selling more than 1,350 bowls in three hours. “It was the most successful EBP to date! Each year this community steps up and shows us how much they care about their neighbors,” said EBP co-chair Carrie Gregory.

More than 30 restaurants and businesses donated upwards of 150 gallons of soup, which was served by Dripping Springs Helping Hands volunteers.

Girl Scouts from Dripping Springs and Wimberley troops volunteered their time to wash bowls, hand out bread and sweet treats and wrap bowls up for traveling home.
