Dripping Springs ISD broke ground on its new Adult Transition Services (18+ Program) Center, located adjacent to the Sycamore Springs campus, Thursday, Nov. 13.

The 18+ Program serves special education students 18 to 22 years old, who have met graduation requirements, but require continued services for job, self-help and/or independent living skills.

Student Luke Gonzales thanks the crowd for coming to the ceremony. “Thank you all for coming to this groundbreaking and for supporting the 18+ Program. It takes an entire community working together to make things like this happen. It is because [of] your interest and the support to this program [that it] continues to grow,” he said.
