DRIPPING SPRINGS — The Lady Tigers hosted the 20th Annual Brittany Tuck Memorial Softball Tournament Feb 19-21, finishing with a record of three wins, two losses and one tie.
The tournament featured multiple host sites across the area and included teams from Central Texas, the San Antonio region and the Houston area. With district play approaching, all participating teams used the tournament as preparation for their upcoming schedules.
Last season, the Lady Tigers were crowned district champions with an 11–1 district record and an overall mark of 31–11–1 in University Interscholastic League (UIL) 6A Division competition. Their playoff run ended in the UIL State Semifinals with a loss to Kingwood High School.
The Lady Tigers are off to another strong start this season, currently holding a 10–2–1 record. They will travel this weekend to compete in the Barbers Hill Tournament in Barbers Hill.
Dripping Springs’ next home game is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, March 13, when they will host the Del Valle High School Cardinals.
