Hays High School softball team pitcher Addie S. (No. 17) does some warmup pitches, during the Hawks’ district opener against the Cedar Park High School Timberwolves Tuesday, March 3. The Lady Hawks dominated the game with a score of 8-0 and scored three home runs during the game.
On Friday, March 6, the team continued its win streak when the Hawks defeated the Leander High School Lions 6-2. The Hawks are 2-0 in district and will travel to face the Rouse High School Raiders at press time Tuesday, March 10. Their next home game will be against the Lockhart High School Lions at 7 p.m. March 13.
