Johnson Jaguars baseball loses to Anderson, heads to playoffs

The Johnson High School baseball team closed out the regular season in second place, with a 22-8-2 overall record and a 9-3 district record, following an 8-1 loss to the Anderson High School Trojans in a nondistrict matchup Saturday, April 25. 

The Jaguars will take on Laredo’s United High School in a best-of-three series, beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at UniTrade Stadium in Laredo. Game two will bring the series back to Buda at 7 p.m. Friday, May 1. Game three, if necessary, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 2.
