Hosted by the Greater Buda Chamber of Commerce and the Buda Economic Development Corporation (EDC), the May 7 event recognized businesses in Buda for various awards.
Hays County Emergency Services districts No. 2 and No. 8 were named the Community Partnership of the Year. "Without their collaboration, [the H-E-B] project simply would not have come to fruition," said Monica Davidson, executive director of the chamber of commerce.
