The Wimberley High School Texans softball team ended its series against the Columbia High School Roughnecks with a 4-3 win Thursday, May 7. The two-game sweep, which started with a 6-2 win of game one Tuesday, May 5, secured the team’s advancement to the Regional Finals for the first time in school history.
Wimberley will head to Karnes City to take on Ingleside High School for Regional Finals. Game one will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, followed by game two at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 16. If needed, game three will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 18.
