The city of Buda broke ground on Garison Memorial Park after nearly 10 years of discussion. The more than 40-acre park, funded through the 2021 parks bond, has more than a mile of hiking trails adjacent to Onion Creek and will soon offer kayaking, birding, swimming access and more.
