Members of the Buda Fire Department gathered Friday, Sept. 11, to remember the lives lost in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Following a brief ceremony, participants donned their bunker gear and set out for 28 ascents up the department's training tower. According to the department, approximately 30 Buda firefighters participated in the memorial stair climb.
