BUDA — City Limits Subaru provided a brand new 2026 Subaru Impreza Sport to a young man, who grew up in foster care and is now a freshman at Texas State University.

According to a news release, the man believed that he was visiting the Buda car dealership to test-drive vehicles with his mentor, Patrick Froelich. Instead, he was surprised to learn that the car was his as he walked into the dealership.

He also learned that he was named Austin Angels’ 2026 Youth of the Year.

This marks the third consecutive year City Limits Subaru employees have personally contributed their own funds to provide a vehicle to a young person connected with Austin Angels. The employee-led initiative reflects the dealership team's commitment to removing barriers helping young adults aging out of foster care pursue education, work and independence, continued the release.

"Our employees chose to make this possible because they understand what reliable transportation can mean for a young adult building his future," said Rachelle Grossman, City Limits Subaru marketing director. "We are honored to stand beside Austin Angels and to celebrate this young man’s accomplishments and support him for every opportunity that lies ahead."
