As a local business owner, I get to talk with people across Kyle every day. One thing I hear consistently is that people love this community, but they also want to know that as Kyle grows, we're making smart decisions about our roads, public safety, infrastructure and the way taxpayer dollars are spent.
That's one reason I'm supporting Kenneth Rocha for Kyle City Council District 4.
What has impressed me about Kenneth is that he doesn't just show up when it's election season. He does his homework, attends the meetings, asks questions and takes the time to understand how decisions at City Hall affect residents and businesses.
Kenneth also brings more than 20 years of experience working inside local government. But what matters to me isn't simply the number of years. It's that he understands what happens after a decision is made—whether a project can actually be delivered, what it will cost taxpayers and whether we're getting the results we were promised.
Kyle is changing quickly. We need residents, businesses and community leaders engaged in deciding what comes next.
I encourage my neighbors in District 4 to learn about Kenneth for themselves. Check out his website https://www.facebook.com/KennethRochaforKyleCityCouncilDistrict4, reach out to him, ask him the hard questions and have a conversation.
You don't have to take my word for it. Get to know the candidate and decide for yourself.
