WOODCREEK — Wimberley ISD announced a planned road closure that may affect family’s travel plans to and from campuses.
The city of Woodcreek notified the community that on Monday, Sept. 28, a portion of Woodcreek Drive became closed for construction, read a news release. The closure will extend from Champions Circle in Woodcreek to Cypress Point — roughly the north side of the bridge near Cypress Falls.
The closure is expected to last approximately five weeks. The road is anticipated to re-open in early November.
This closure means that vehicles will be unable to travel through Woodcreek on Woodcreek Drive from FM 2325 to Ranch Road 12 and vice versa.
WISD is aware that many parents use this route to travel from Jacob’s Well Elementary or secondary campuses to Blue Hole Primary. Other routes include Jacob’s Well Road, Emergency Lane or La Buena Vista.
