WIMBERLEY — After months of discussing the issue, downtown traffic is still an ongoing hot topic for Wimberley City Council, despite officers stationed in the square for traffic control assistance.

“The traffic has been terrible,” said Mayor Pro Tem Rebecca Minnick, at the Dec. 3 city council meeting. “The weather really tamped it down but generally, it’s going out past River Road and down almost to 3227. We need to be looking at some long-term solutions in terms of traffic flow.”
