On March 13, several Hays CISD middle school bands earned straight first division rankings and sweepstakes at the UIL concert and sight reading competition at the Hays Performing Arts Center. Dahlstrom, Barton, Wallace and McCormick middle schools all earned sweepstakes. It also marks the first time McCormick took sweepstakes honors in the school’s history.
