The Dripping Springs Tiger volleyball team cruised to a 25-4, 25-9, 25-8 sweep over the Juan Navarro Lady Vikings Oct. 15, improving its record to 35-10 overall and 10-0 in 25-5A.
“I thought every contact we made today was purposeful and was made with great execution,” Tigers head coach Michael Kane said. “I’m really pleased with the outcome, but more so of the contact on our side of the net.”
The Tigers asserted their dominance early and often as they outplayed Navarro with strong serving and outside hitting through all three sets. Dripping Springs had 25 total aces for the game, compared to only one from Navarro. The Tigers also had 37 kills as a team while the Vikings just had two, which both came in the final set.
