Authorities said there are "no obvious signs" of foul play in the death of a man whose body was found along Kyle Crossing Tuesday morning.
However, Kyle Police will continue their investigation and await results of an autopsy on the victim, who they suspect was homeless.
Kyle Police Lt. Andre Marmolejo said in a statement the body was found at around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday by a pedestrian who was walking along Kyle Crossing on their way to work. The witness went into the Home Depot on Kyle Crossing and employees at the store called Kyle Police.
Hays County Pct. 2 Justice of the Peace Beth Smith pronounced the victim deceased and ordered an autopsy.
No information is available regarding the identity, age or ethnicity of the victim at this time.

Kyle Police are conducting a death investigation after the discovery of a body along Kyle Crossing Tuesday morning.
Jeff Barnett, Kyle Police Chief, said the body of an adult was found around 8 a.m. Tuesday near the 3700 block of Kyle Crossing. The body was found on the south side of Kyle Crossing in front of the Home Depot.
The manner and cause of death are unknown at this time. The gender and identity of the victim is also unknown at this time.
