Earlier this week, McCormick Middle School Parent Liaison Eva Pedraza was honored by the Hays County Child Protective Board with the 6th Annual Anna V. Farr Heroes in Education Award. Members of the Child Protective Board presented the award to Pedraza. The award is given “to recognize educators who go out of their way to help children with special needs, especially abused or neglected children.”
