With 100 percent precincts reporting, Democrat Joseph Kopser and Republican Chip Roy will challenge for the congressional seat representing District 21 in November.
Kopser, who came in second in the primary election, upset Mary Wilson by roughly 4,000 votes, turning his previous second place finish to his party's candidate.
Chip Roy, who beat his runoff opponent by over 7,000 votes, will remain Republican voters' choice for the general election in November.

Only 8 of the 985 precincts are being reported, or .81 percent of the total vote.
Democrat
Joesph Kopser holds a nearly 20 percent lead over his Democratic opponent Mary Wilson. In the primary election, Wilson came in first by less than two percent of the vote, but Democratic voters are turning the tide towards Kopser based on early projections.

Republican
The Republican race has candidates Chip Roy and Matt McCall within 2 percent of one another. Chip Roy, who won the primary election by a sizable 7,000 vote margin in March, is currently in the lead by less than 500 votes.
