DRIPPING SPRINGS — A national developer has expanded its footprint into the Texas market with 208 single-family lots, including a handful in the Dripping Springs area.
In March, Harbor Custom Development, Inc. closed on its first two single-family homes in the La Ventana community located in Driftwood — which is less than 20 minutes from the city of Dripping Springs.
Watching more residents and developers migrate to Texas, especially in the Austin and Hays County areas, Harbor wanted to make its mark.
“It’s growing [and] it has a more robust economy,” said Jeff Habersetzer, COO of Harbor. “We see a business plan of being 20 to 60 minutes outside of the major metropolitan areas and that’s what we are doing here in Texas.”
Each lot in Bunker Ranch (Dripping Springs) is an acre and each lot in La Ventana (Driftwood) is 1.6 acres.
Homes prices from $900,000 to $2 million. Most of the homes, which showcase modern farmhouse elements, feature four to five bedrooms, three and a half to four bathrooms and two to three-car garages.
