Teacher's tip leads to child indecency arrest

A Hays County Grand Jury indicted a Kyle man who is accused of inappropriately touching a child in 2016.

Jose Isabel Marin Ruiz, 35, of Kyle, was indicted on two counts of indecency with a child based on an incident in the Shady Oaks area of Kyle on March 1, 2016.

According to an arrest warrant, Buda Police began an investigation into the sexual assault of a child based on information from teachers at Tom Green Elementary that a specific child’s behavior had drastically changed.
