Kyle Police have apprehended the second of two suspects involved in a burglary at a residence in the Four Seasons Farm subdivision Monday.
The name of the first suspect, who was apprehended earlier in the day, is not being released at this time. The second suspect is a juvenile whose name will not be released.
"We extend our thanks to the Hays County Sheriff's Office and its K-9 unit for their assitance in the search," Kyle Police Chief Jeff Barnett said in a statement. "KPD also appreciates the help from those persons who called into dispatch with information about the second suspect.

UPDATE – 2:54 p.m.
Kyle Police have one suspect connected with the alleged burglary in the Meadows of Kyle subdivision in custody, according to a city press release.
A second suspect, described as a Hispanic male in his late teens or early 20's, remains on the run. Kyle Police and Hays County Sheriff's have called off the K9 units and have deactivated the perimeter.
Police continue to question the first suspect and are fielding calls about the other male suspect. Anyone with information about this person is asked to contact KPD at 512-268-3232 or 512-268-0859. Individuals can also call 911 to report information or a sighting of the suspect. The public is asked to avoid engaging with this person; instead, call authorities immediately.
EARLIER
Lehman High School initiated a voluntary temporary lockout this afternoon in response to a nearby burglary suspect fleeing from the 100 block of Hiver in the Meadows of Kyle neighborhood.
According to a press release from the City of Kyle two males were identified fleeing from the scene of the burglary, one was apprehended by Kyle Police officers and is currently in custody and the other was seen fleeing on foot and is possibly armed.
The second suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his late teens or 20s who residents reported to KPD shortly after a perimeter was established was seen jumping fences to avoid capture.
According to the press release a lockout is “a very routine procedure whenever there’s a situation near a school and just means that all doors are locked and no one can enter or leave, but the school day continues as usual.”
According to the press release at this moment the Hays County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit is on scene with KPD and they are conducting house-to-house and yard-to-yard searches for the second suspect.
