Buda Bogey Classic
The Buda Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the 3rd Annual Buda Bogey Classic on Monday, April 17 at Onion Creek Club. Twenty-four four-person teams competed for bragging rights. The U.S. Foods team, consisting of Richard Boone, Meredith Schaffer, Jack Fennel and Jeanine Kennedy took first place. “We would like to thank our sponsors. Due to their generous contributions, this was the best Buda Bogey Classic yet,” K.C. Watson, assistant executive director of the Buda Area Chamber of Commerce, said.

Doral staff, parents demand change
BUDA — In November 2022, Doral Academy parents gathered with school leadership to bring attention to health and safety concerns they had for their children. On March 21, 2023, parents stood in front of the board of directors, expressing frustration with the lack of progress in addressing issues previously presented.

Celebration of life held for Buda Chamber founder
Pictured above, a toast to Dick Schneider: Schneider was a known wine lover, especially of Zinfandel. Longtime friend Chris Harkrider (center) brought a bottle to the celebration for family and friends to toast to.
