The Wimberley High School Texans and Dripping Springs High School Tigers success stories last year ended before the final chapter for both football teams could be finished; each are eager to pick up where they left off, but the rewrite won’t be easy.

PHOTO BY ALBERT SANCHEZ On Tuesday, April 16, the seniors from the Dripping Springs High School Softball team were recognized along with her families before their district game with Del Valle High School. The Tigers went an extra inning and won the close contest with the Cardinals. The final score was Tigers 2, Cardinals 1.

On Friday, Oct. 27, the Tigers traveled to take on the Del Valle High School Cardinals at Veterans Memorial Stadium. After a scoreless first quarter, and a sideline pep talk, the Tigers came alive in the second quarter.
