By Brittany Kelley KYLE — Kyle City Council voted 6-0 at a special meeting on Aug. 3 to amend ordinance 1231, which discusses policies for the city credit card and reimbursement for council members.

The city of Kyle hosted two open houses, held at Kyle city hall and Lehman High School, on June 6 to allow community members to give feedback on the Sidewalk Master Plan.

— The community is invited to attend an engagement session for the Gregg-Clarke Park Skatepark on Tuesday, June 27 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Kyle City Hall.

— Boling Law Firm is more of a gallery than a law office. Each piece is either local or self-made, a testament to Anna Martinez Boling’s emphasis on local art and its importance.

KYLE — A few seats on the Hays CISD Board of Trustees are up for grabs in the upcoming election.

— Having tough but much-needed conversations will encourage progress and create peace, which is the idea behind Kyle’s triannual dialogue series.
